Workshop on occupational safety, health and environment and trade union rights

As part of the IndustriALL/SASK/LO-TCO India project on organizing workers in the steel sector, a workshop on capacity building was held on 24 - 26 November at Hyderabad, India. The thirty participants came from IndustriALL Global Union affiliates INMF (INTUC) and SMEFI (HMS). During the two days, participants learned more about occupational safety, health and environment, as well as trade union rights. An overview on industrial safety and labour rights was given.
