Unions chart course for aerospace transformation at global conference

Going global to win locally

16 June, 2025IndustriALL US affiliate IUE-CWA has opened the national bargaining round with GE Aerospace, after it was split into a standalone company following General Electric’s (GE) major restructuring. As GE Aerospace expands its global operations and supply chains, the union recognizes the need to build international solidarity to counteract transnational corporate strategies and protect workers’ interests worldwide, and invited IndustriALL to the opening of the negotiations. 

33,000 Boeing workers on strike

16 September, 2024On 12 September, 33,000 workers at Boeing. Co, American aerospace giant, downed tools, demanding better wages, pensions, and healthcare. The workers, represented by the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM), an IndustriALL affiliate, rejected a contract offering a 25 percent pay raise over a period of four years. 

IndustriALL’s aerospace sector prioritizes trade union rights in emerging economies
