One worker killed and six injured at Holcim in India

1 December, 2021One worker was killed and five other injured at Marwar cement plant in Nagaur district of Rajasthan, India on 18 November 2021. Another worker was seriously injured in Maratha Cement Works in Maharashtra on 11 November 2021. Both plants are owned by Holcim subsidiary, Ambuja cement.

Workers create union network in Latin America’s glass sector

29 September, 2021The second regional meeting of the glass sector was held online on 22 September, with participation of leaders from IndustriALL affiliates in Peru, Colombia, Brazil, Chile and Argentina. Aiming to promote solidarity, organizing and better union presence in the glass sector in Latin America, participants agreed to launch a regional glass network and continue regular information exchanges.

Albanian cement workers celebrate signing a collective agreement in Elbasan
