Nigerian unions suspend strike to allow for negotiations with government

5 juin, 2024After calling for an indefinite strike over national minimum wages, and the reversal of electricity tariff increases, trade union federations, the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) and the Trade Union Congress (TUC), suspended the strike on 4 June to allow for negotiations with the Federal Government of Nigeria.

NUMSA considers legal action to stop violence against strikers
