Kazakhstan: oil workers finally achieve union registration 1 September, 2023After a strenuous two-year ordeal, the Trade Union of Fuel and Energy Industry Workers has managed to register a branch of its union in the city of Almaty. On 11 August, an order was issued to register a branch for workers in the fuel and energy sector. The order came after the union won a lawsuit against the minister of justice in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Nigerian textile union conference focuses on industry revival 4 April, 2024The National Union of Textile Garment and Tailoring Workers of Nigeria (NUTGTWN), an IndustriALL affiliate, held its 13th National Delegates Conference under the theme: building union power for sustainable industrialization and the future of work. The conference took place in Abuja, Nigeria from 25-27 March.
