3,600-strong oil worker strike in Jordan averted with remarkable agreement

27 March, 2014Monday 24 March saw a remarkable trade union victory in Amman, Jordan. A last-minute new collective agreement including a 30 per cent salary increase averted strike action by the 3,600 members of IndustriALL Global Union’s Jordanian petroleum and chemical workers affiliate.
