GENEVA: This is the last issue of the IMF Fax News. It will be replaced by a newsletter called IMF NewsBriefs. As announced in IMF Fax News No. 20, of May 20, the IMF is opening a new website on the Internet on June 7, 1999 (www.imfmetal.org) where individual news items will be regularly produced on the new website homepage. These news items will then be grouped every week or two into an IMF NewsBriefs and distributed - the same as the Fax News has been - by e-mail or by fax.
