10 October, 2012Country list of actions taken by IndustriALL affiliates to STOP Precarious Work
In Hong Kong IndustriALL affiliate, the Committee of Metal Industry Unions (CMIU) joined the campaign to Stop Precarious Work and took action on 10 October in front of the Legislative Council Building. CMIU will dispatched petitions to Legislative Councilors, asking them to
- revoke the relating regulation "4.1.18" so as to let part-time workers be covered by the "Employment Ordinance"; and
- press the Government to stop outsourcing.
