A mandate to act, a responsibility to deliver17 December, 2025As 2025 comes to an end, the discussions and decisions of IndustriALL’s fourth Congress in Sydney are still fresh. Congress is more than a meeting; it is where we take stock and set our collective direction. The days in Sydney were a success, but more importantly it is a mandate. A mandate from affiliates across every region and sector to act with clarity, courage and determination in a world that is becoming more unequal, more unstable and more hostile to working people.
GSK workers build their first worldwide union network10 December, 2025For the first time in the history of GSK, a major British phamarceutical company, trade unions from across the company’s global operations came together in Paris on 9-10 December for a meeting that set the foundation for a united global workers’ network. Hosted at the FCE-CFDT headquarters in France, it marked a turning point, born out of rising restructuring across continents, growing pressure on workers and the clear need for a stronger coordinated global industrial relations framework at GSK.

Indonesia: seven Freeport workers killed at a landslide at Grasberg 14 October, 2025After a month-long rescue mission, the bodies of seven Indonesian and migrant workers were discovered on 5 October at Freeport-McMoRan’s Grasberg mine. The workers had been trapped underground following a landslide on 8 September, when an estimated 800,000 metric tonnes of mud suddenly flowed into the cave.
